My Approach
As a counsellor, I work from an Integrative, Culturally Sensitive, and Trauma Informed Approach. This entails utilizing different theoretical approaches and techniques that best suit my client’s specific needs. I believe in a holistic approach to counselling, taking into account the mind, body, and spirit. This approach seeks to treat the entire individual to encourage healing, growth, and transformation. I endeavour to provide a warm, compassionate, open presence, and a safe space for my clients. I believe collaboration is key in the therapeutic process.
The therapeutic approaches I typically work from include:
Psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Self-Compassion, Existential Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy.

Background
I am a Canadian expat, originally from Toronto, Ontario, and I also lived in Vancouver and Ottawa before moving to Germany in 2016.
My journey to a career in psychotherapy was an adventurous one. I began my undergrad studying philosophy and human relations & spirituality. My interest in deeper meaning and connection eventually led me to complete my Masters degree in Counselling Psychology.
I enjoy travelling, spending time with my three daughters, reading, running, drinking tea (& the occasional glass of wine, if I’m being honest), film photography, Netflix binges, and spending time with my friends.
